MINOT, N.D. – As we approach another Christmas season, First Western Bank & Trust is excited to announce the commencement of its annual “100 Cheers” week starting on Monday, December 11th. This holiday tradition, now in its 9th year, reflects First Western’s commitment to making a positive impact in the communities it serves.

In 2014, First Western celebrated its 50th anniversary with the campaign and tagline “100 Cheers for 50 Years”, which involved spreading goodwill and kindness through 100 random acts of kindness. From surprising shoppers with groceries to paying for items on layaway, the initiative aimed to bring joy and warmth to individuals during the holiday season. Over the years, “100 Cheers” has grown and evolved, much like First Western.

For the 2023 campaign, First Western Bank & Trust is proud to announce a special focus on youth in their local communities. Throughout the week, the bank’s employees will engage in activities and initiatives to support and uplift the youth in all seven regions that First Western serves.

“This ‘100 Cheers’ campaign aligns seamlessly with our mission statement, highlighting the pride we take in the communities we serve,” said Brenda K. Foster, President & CEO of First Western Bank & Trust. “By directing our efforts toward youth empowerment, we emphasize the importance of giving back through charitable works. It reflects our commitment to help build strong, vibrant communities for future generations.”
